There is nothing better than seeing someone you know who has left!

The other day i was in town and i saw someone who left while i was still in. Everyone said things about her, how she came off the rails etc but actually she has a son, a good relationship with her father (an elder who left before her and left family because his father-in-law would make life a nightmare...well she followed).

I haven't seen the father in years or her but it was nice to catch up, a flash of horror on her face until i explained i left also and then she was really happy!

I recently had lunch with an old friend of mine who I found out left also. she has been out for a long time but is still around her jw family and dating someone who is still going to meetings. she says she will never go back but she doesn't know how to handle the boyfriend thing.

I gave her the info. for this website and so she is lurking around here now and enjoying all the info. she is finding.
