The new CD is called Zeitgeist. German for "the Spirit of the Age". It's to be released in July of this year.

Of the original members, only Corgan and Chamberlin remain.

Sounds decent.

Worth checking out.

Hurray - that song was one playing when I came out and I still love it :

"Dont you know that I'm losin my way...." which ran seamlessly into "And I would do anything for love but I wont (stay a JW)" into "Come as you are, as you were, as i want yooooo to be, as a friend, as a trend...." and then "i said hey yeah, yeah, yeah hey yeah yeah - I said hey Whats going on"...

I loved the Pumpkins. Always among my top bands. But I still can't get out of my head that this is just Corgan + the drummer. I can live without D'Arcy (as I accepted them as they were before they split), but it just ain't the Pumpkins to me without Iha. But I will give it a listen.

I get what you're saying Leolaia. I thought the same. But, the little bit I heard sounded pretty decent to me.

I'm just glad to see them back in the game.

I heard one of their new songs. It's excellent, back to their rock roots and none of the electronic stuff.
