I am looking all through my postings to see if my son Richard posted about my being rushed to the hospital on May 1st. and I guess he didn't do as I asked, little monkey wait till I get my hands on that boy.

Yes this little furry beastte was in the hospital with a rare form of viral bronchial pneumonia,, that of course with asthma ,sent my body into a downward spiral. To beat all attached to this vicious virus is the attack on the brain. I must tell you I was so mixed up (MORE THAN USUAL KLS)that I didn't know the day/ the time/ hour /and basically all the things we take for granted was all awry. It was pretty hair raising to say the least. When I got home on Friday it was great but then this morning at 6:30 am I had to call an ambulance for my husband who is at this time very ill and with what I have no idea. I was told by the ambulance driver to get a grip on myself as I started having an asthma attack and they thought they may need another EMT. But I managed to calm down and cried as they took Marco to the hospital. I am waiting for the hospital ER to contact me as to what is going on and then I will feel better. I do hope it isn't too serious, but as most of you know my sweetie is 78 years old and if its his lungs or the abdominal aorta aneurysm then I am worried. Last check up at the doctor his AAA was just past 4 cc in size and it can burst at 5 so maybe it is leaking or something as his back was so painful and with each breathe he felt weaker and weaker. But alas I am doing it again, puting the cart ahead of the horse. I must stop doing that.. bad puddy tat..

I am too scared to go over to the hospital in case I get a relapse. I will just hold tight here and wait until the phone call. Our problem and it isn't a problem really but Marco and I are so concerned about one another that we forget to realize we are making matters worse. If I worry he will worry. The first five days in the hospital he wouldn't let my son stay with him, he wouldn't eat. He came to see me and he looked like hell and was so pale I started getting worried which didn't make matters any better as my blood pressure shot up and got a temperature. Man talk about stress.

At first the doctor was concerned that it was perhaps my heart or stroke, and I think some where in my muddled mind I thought the same. With in the first 16 hours I had 18-20 Ventilin and steroid treatments just so I could start to breathe. Those steriods are evil buggars, but safe your life. And talk about shakes and tremors well my whole body felt like one major seizure. My stomach was bouncing summersaults as I tried to hold onto it for dear life and no relief. What a terrible feeling I thought just momentarily gee this feels like pregnancy..hehehe

I am by nature a fighter and never give up and so I was able to finally get my body on track with my mind grace the pastors and prayers,

I had several lung studies and pulmanory tests. Along with leg doppler test to make sure I had no blood clot as my leg and foot on the right side was so swollen for several days before I went to the hospital. I was huge, and hot well hot isn't the word fof it. Fire is more like it. But thank God it wasm't a clot or emybolism, that was a relief. They tested my heart and it was strong and okay just my lungs are the problem. COPD.

When the specialist came to see me a few days proir to my discharge he told me that this type of virus is extemely rare, and wanting to know if it would re occur I said to him, shall I expect this to happen again.? Too which he said ,that it is hard to know, it could and it may never again. Lets hope for the latter.

I praise God that I am alive and will live another day to his glory. I pray for all on the board who are ill or going through difficult periods in their lives, and for those of families and friends who need as many good and postive thoughts to bring a resolve to these trails. I offer to you my prayers.

may God bless each one of you.

    all my love

I wish you peace and strength OFC as you are there for Marco.

Some of those viruses are horrible and take quite a long time to get over. Be sure to take care of yourself also.

    Hugs, Juni
