Today I went to get an oil change at Toyota and I get there and tell the clerk, I want a oil change, and thats all, nothing more, cause I only have 45 bucks on me and it costs 42 .
So, the clerk says no problem, so wait for my car.......then I notice the mechanic is removing the wheel caps.....so i say hmmmm....and then he takes off the wheels and then i understand that he is rotating the tires... and i told the clerc just to change the oil, so I go tell that to the clerc and he says don't worry, we won't make you pay, becuase he recalls me saying that I didnt want that done.
So, once I pay and get in my car, the little sticker that they put on the windshield on the upper left side, has the date and mileage that i should have when i go back for the next oil change. Well, they made a mistake there too, instead of putting 17,000 km for my next service, they put 27,000, so they got that wrong.
Then I get home and I notice that they didn't put my wheel caps back on properly cause 2 of them were almost falling off...grrrr
Then I look at my car and notice miniature but long scratches on the top of the hood...about 5 of them and then I recall seeing the mechanic puting his pad right there at the garage. They aren't supposed to put their pad on the car. It's a kind of plastic pad, that they put their sheets in it so that they can see what they have to do for each car. The problem is that on the bottom of that pad, there are metalic things that scratch the car.
So, I phoned the manager at Toyota and gave him hell for all these things that they did wrong. Then I tell him that they did that to my other car I had last year too, they scratched the car at the same place each time because they put their Fuc*en pad there where it shouldnt be.
So, the manager said that they should put their pad elsewhere, not on the car like that.
Then he said to come back to the garage with both cars and they would give it a compound....whatever that is. Gee, my car is only 6 months old, and the other one is not even 2 years old, and when they put scratches on the other car its was also brand new.
OK, maybe theses scratches are only microscopic, but still, with the right angle and light, they show and are about 6 inches long.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
