Just got my first tattoo - very large celtic cross across my whole forearm, and have also been smoking cigs, and cigars, on and off (social) - DAMN I FEEL GREAT!!! I was hoping that on the way back from the tat parlor a JW would spot me with a cig and a tated arm hanging out the window :)
My JW wife isn't happy but I think she is turning ever so slowly - sort of "lukewarm". My JW mom, who is the only one left, kept telling my brother and I that Leviticus condemns tats. I simply told her two things: First why do JW's ignore the mandate only a scripture or two above that condemn cutting your side locks? and Two, Why do you adhere to an ancient law WRITTEN FOR THE JEWS? Hello, I'm not Jewish!!!
