. . . it's got to be the best cheese I've tried in years. I decided to treat myself to something nice tonight cuz I was feeling a bit blah.

Took a brisk walk on the beach and felt 90% better. When I tried this lovely cheese with Galway Pipe port and cuban bread (also things I've never tried before), I was up to 100%. God bless Australia, Cuba and Wensleydale.

The port is a bit sweet, but still it's kinda' delectable. It's fun to try new things now and then.

Anyone else tried these things before? I feel like I just discovered a new planet or something; it's too good not to share.

Michael Palin: How about a nice Wensleydale?

John Cleese: Alright, I'll have some Wensleydale.

Michael Palin: Sorry, we're all out of Wensleydale. How about a delicious Camembert?

    etc...etc...

Boiled and salted edadame dipped in a sauce of soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic and toasted sesame seeds. Delish!

When I was traveling a lot I carried a can of sharp cheddar aerosol cheese, a box of Tricuits and a jar of green olives in my suitcase for an emergency snack. Went great with a cowboy martini (vodka over ice).

Gregor, I'm a big fan of John Cleese; and parakeet, I'm also a big fan of edamame beans and of sesame oil; scully, that's so funny; I was just thinking this cheese would be great with turkey at christmas time!

I was also just thinking how great it is to live in a country where every time one goes shopping, it's like stepping into an international food museum. Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming, if not downright materialistic, but I just love the choices we have. It's amazing how much we have available to us; and sad that it's not like that for everyone everywhere.

I feel very lucky, at least in some ways. Cheers and salud! Off for another quaff of port. It's so fragrant!

Another Wensleydale cranberry cheese fan here. I like to pick up a different cheese each time I go to a Whole Foods Market. I also like Neal's cheeses as well.

I like trying different foods and different recipes - it adds some spice to life.

I like it, too! The apricot one is good as well.

Each time I go to Wegman's (grocery store), I pick a new cheese to try.
