The Brooklyn Heights Press has confirmed that the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has sold the apartment building at 89 Hicks Street to Brooklyn Law School. The paper reports that the two parties closed on the property, built in 1940, in July.
that's interesting considering how many lawyers the watchtower is advertising for. who owns brooklyn law school?

I got a kick out of reading about Tom Combs and his lawnmowing. My wife used to pioneer with his mother-in-law and our congregation would get regular visits from Tom and his wife.
