You suggested from the other thread that we let you know about attendance at the Renfest and the evening get-together. Yes, the Mrs. and I will be there.

On a more sobering thought, I have a relatively slow connection, one of those budget satellite providers, faster than a phone line but not much faster. That said, JWD is the slowest web-based forum on the planet. Hey, it's the largest I've heard of, and I'm not complaining. But it takes nearly two minutes to load one page here. Between these two threads, there are some 15 or so pages -- you do the math.

What I'm suggesting here is that someone take charge at creating a document and a hyperlink (say a PDF printed from Word -- whatever. Such document link should be provided on each page from henceforth. This way, one document can be accessed for everything travelers need) that contains ALL the vitals of this weekend:

Saturday May 5, reception following wedding at Renfest, 2- 5pm. Include map or hyperlink to map.

ditto, evening activities at such and such, 7 - 11 pm. Include map or hyperlink.

Sunday May 6, Mudbug fest at Elsewhere's, 11 am till whatever. Include map or link.

Latest list of attendees for each event:

I would be happy to create, maintain (as long as I get feedback from everyone), and host such a document. However, the Mrs. and I are leaving for a week and a half beginning tomorrow. I'll be glad to do this when I get back. Let me know. The important thing is that someone should do something like this for events like this.

I second fatfreek's suggestion Ross! If I don't have an itinerary with maps times and events on it then the chances are I will end up under a table in a bar with a bunch of cowboys for the weekend and miss everything! (LOL - am kidding - I plan to be on my best behaviour. Just depends on how good Hemp Lover is at leading me astray!)
