I was sick with the flu in bed when two witnesses decided to stop by in service. I wasn't going to answer the door, but they just kept pounding, so I thought it might be someone who needed something. I drag myself out of bed and put on a robe and peek out. There they stand smiling.
I know they have seen me, so I answer the door and tell them I have the flu. They immediately start physically backing away from the door and say the don't want to catch it. I can understand that, but after they leave I thought about their lack of concern. I would hope, if I was in that situation, I would have at least asked if I could bring them something from the store or if they were in need of some help.
I had a high fever and could have used some soda and crackers from the store. My family was away. They wouldn't have had to enter the house or touch anything. I guess they were not there for that reason and can't think outside of the box. They practically ran away. I find this very strange. Am I over reacting?
