i forget which one, but in one of them a brother in 1942 at an assembly declares the end of the league of nations and that Gods government was taking over. I looked up when the UN started and that was 1945.. between 1942 and 1945 did any of the JW publications declare that gods kingdom was taking over since the league of nations ended? and did they backtrack when the UN formed?

The UN was in developement long before 1945 and there was much publicity of this in the press. Any news magazine publisher,( WTBTS), would have been aware of this. JWs did not predict its formation in 1942 as some claim. It was common knowledge. I have some cartoons and articles from the New York Times, 1942, about the United Nations.
