Started going to a community college just as my head cleared from borg nonsense about 15 years ago chasing an electronics degree. Was introduced to NT4 and took turn into computer networking. Currently a Network Specialist\Lan Administrator going ten years. Responsibilities include design and maintenance of network infrastructure for educational institution....Switches, routers, hybrid IP and Nortel phone systems, and wireless. CCNA Certified with extensive experience with MS operating systems. Would love to quit it all and pursue flying for a living, but, I don't think I could survive the initial paycut I'd have to take.

I trained and worked in Engineering fields for several years after college. I wrote an RPG program when I was 18 (circa 1978) and dabbled in BASIC and C at home. Part of one of my jobs was programming process controllers. 15 years ago I retrained as a programmer and went on to work in software development and ERP implementation for a Software company. This was all AS400/iSeries and RPG IV and ILE stuff. I am now back working for a manufacturing company managing software development in the Supply Chain area. I still code but now work mainly in PL/SQL. 3rd
