I was in the holiday mood and put together these pictures from the Golden Age magazine that dealt with Christmas. Many are Christmas advertisements but some are Christmas sermons and even some carols. Use the bookmarks section on the left to select the page you want to view:
It's a Golden Age Christmas!

Thanks for posting this. Cool documents. Looking for a late Christmas Gift? Why not give a set of Studies in the Scriptures??? LOL. Thanks.

The ones that got me were the ones that said you could telegram the Watch Tower Society and they'd have local Bible Students hand deliver your Christmas present in time for the holidays.
Can you imagine?! A person sends a telegram to Brooklyn with their order. And then the Society sends out a telegram to the local congregation with info so that they could make the Christmas delivery in time! Priceless! -

I'll call the Service Desk on Monday (will they be open?) and ask if the books are still available.

Check out the advertisement for a book explaining Einstein's theory of relativity, written by a Bible Student at Bethel who also endorsed those Abrams claptrap devices. I guess we wouldn't now see a book on string theory written by someone from today's Bethel staff?

Leolaia,
I hadn't seen the book ad. Interesting. I found where Hudgings was a pilgrim. Wasn't he on the board of directors later. Anyone know? -

I got a big charge out of this. The items for sale with wholesale and retail prices listed reveals the nature of the Watch Tower Society yesterday as well as today. It's a manufacturing and sales business. I only wish I could have tried a quart of the miracle oil product. I bet those door to door sales people worked territory close to home on the days they sampled the oil in recommended doses.
Thanks! Great job as usual. -

I like the ad on the last page. They lowered the price but guaranteed there wouldn't be a lowering in quality. I guess you can't go down from crap.
