Ok, I got him an mp3 player. Do I :

    a) Open it and upload his favorite play lists?

    b) Not do the above?

He's Not computer savvy. He does computer at work, but it is completely different then this in its programming.

    So what say ye?

I've been thinking b, but I'm beginning to wonder if a might be wise so he can just get started with it.

Let him open and load it - that's part of the fun figuring it out. While he's doing this you put on something slinky and purrrrr into his ear.

now stop it!! how's he supposed to concentrate on two things at once?

I say let him load his own music. Then do the slinky purring thing.

OR...you could upload a recording of you purring, and dance around in something slinky while he listens to it.

    Hey BlackSwan

No don't preload stuff, do it together all 'cosy like' over the holidays.

    Doing stuff together is important.

I agree with those who say let him open it and load it, which is definitely part of the fun. But be ready to help him if he asks.
