This song is usually put on here each Christmas by someone; so I thought that I'd do it this time. For the ones that haven't heard it before.

Thanks, MsMcDucket!
That was my first time hearing it. Good song . . . although a bit depressing as it reminds me of some of the miserable aspects of my childhood.
144001, I agree it makes me sad too.
This song has almost brought me to tears today. It's my twins birthday, and I miss my mother. I think about her every time I think about going against her wishes and becoming a Jehovah's Witness.
Thanks,
It brought back some bad memories and feelings!! BUT at least my kids will get some GOOD memories (hopefully).
TheHypnoToad don't sign no post!
I hope you feel better today, Ms. McDucket!
No matter how hard I've tried, I've never been able to shake the anger attributable to the theft and exploitation of my childhood caused by the Watchtower corporations. Denial of holidays is just one brick in the wall of misery and abuse that surrounds JW kids. For me, it was so much more than that.
I left at an early age, and have lived my life as happily as possible given the circumstances. The question that never leaves my head, however, is "what would my life have been like/amounted to had the cancer that is the Watchtower not been a part of it?" There is no answer to that question; but there's plenty of anger associated with the urge to ask it.
Normally I don't like rap,
but player that was for real, u nowhat um sayin !
144001, if only there was a prodoctive way t channel all this anger it would accomplish two puposes.
