Thanks Esmerelda, LDH and all who shared their interesting experiences about their children and the influence of their JW parents.
My JW parents are in their 70's now and I have been DFed for 13 years and I still can't have an honest conversation with them about my inner thoughts about God or life or anything. I still have to pretend around them and not be myself. And this has nothing to do with the gay thing, I'm talking about just general feelings about life, death, being happy as a person, self esteem, etc.
