I was 15, and I was very excited and nervous. I got baptized at Sportsman Park, in Chicago. When I climbed the steps to the swimming pool, I saw my stepfather, he was surprising me, he was going to baptize me. It actually wan an emotional moment. My parents were so proud of their only child. I have not seen him in 14 years, he is still a JW, so he disowned me. Too bad for him.
