      It looks very tedious to me, I am so glad I'm going to miss it. I hope the number baptised is a big fat zero. I'd bet if there are baptisms they will be mainly kids of jws.

      Sounds like a money marathon to me. Why don't they just get on TV like the rest of 'em and do dialing for dollars.

      There was one girl baptised, a teenager who had been raised a JW.

      The Public talk was the highlight. Apparently surviving Armageddon depends on our conduct, attitude, and appearance, as well as meeting attendance and Service, of course!

      zico, I couldn't remember if someone put up the schedule. Some who are inactive like to see what is coming up and what their JW relatives/friends might be pushing.

      I haven't been to one for 5 years. The talks at the assembly on Saturday made it the last meeting I have ever attended.

      I haven't been to a assembly in 10+ years and the schedule looks sadly familiar. same old material, different actors..

      Good thing I haven't miised anything.

      Love the talk about not digging the riches of Egypt - as if the GB and their ass-kissing retinue would give up their good lives. "Those talks are for the porters of wood and water; poor bastards. If we keep them poor and uneducated, we'll keep the porters."

      oh wow, forgot about the two day.....I am having horrible flashbacks. Five kids, in Memphis, for two day. Why did I bother?
