Met a small group of Jehovah's Witnesses today (page 2)

Wanderer..To the best of my knowledge WBT$ is keeping a tight lid on this..You have to contact the WBT$,so they can tell you they joined the UN-NGO to get a library card.....I told those JW ladys,WBT$ did this to get a library card.They giggled and looked at me like I was just soooooooooooo misinformed..LOL!!...OUTLAW

LonelySheep..When I told the JW ladys to contact the UN,they said people just try to make JW`s look bad..I said "You poor Jehovah`s Witness`s,every one trys to make you look bad.Even the United Nations is trying to make you look bad"..They had to laugh..Do they ever think,before they open thier mouth`s..LOL!!...OUTLAW

My thoughts regarding today's experience.

There were mixed emotions on my behalf
including excitement, depression, anger,
and regret.

Excitement because the Witnesses did
a poor job in defending against the
United Nations issue.

Depression and regret because I still
cannot believe that I was programmed
to think the way they wanted me to
for years on end.

Anger because these people are in
such a state of denial that you
would have to hit them over the
head with a rock to make them
understand anything.

Can anyone summarize what the UN issue is?

My cousin (witness) texed me a few weeks ago something about the UN starting a group to look into religions, he found it very exciting and told me to look it up. Is this what you are talking about?
