did anybody else hear the announcement made this week that for 2007 there will be a new version of the WT Library being made available? essentially its a cut-down version with simplified search capability wasn't listening all the way through but I think it will be additional to the standard version, also on the same CD.

Yes, it's called Watchtower Reader.
It will be included in the Watchtower Library this year and next year it will be the only version available.

What a joke, The Watchtower Society needs to censure their own material and issue the lite version. They already were too embarrased to issue Awakes prior to 1970, now they feel the need to cut out even more information.
