Not unless they've changed the time slips since I last filled one in, which was around 15 months ago. I seem to remember someone mentioning that pubs were supposed to note down placements for this tract though.
It is true. I turned in my field report for October on Sun and was asked how many tracts I placed. I have refused to place one and have not been out in service since the campaign began. I got a really weird look when I said matter-of-factly "Oh, we didn't place any"
Next weekend is the end of the campaign. Fortunately we have Circuit Ass-embly so I do not have to evade going out in service when the bros meet at my house. (Unfortunately I have Circuit Ass-embly) :-)
They look at you kinda weird when you turn in you privs (I was MS) and the same month shows only 2 hours and no dire tracts!
Kind of gets me thinking of counting my posting time here on my reports!
They do actually place more than 50 of those tracts per publisher... :(

Burn The Ships - wouldn't That be a great idea - if every one of you on this site who still goes to the meetings would write on the field service report that they did 1 or 2 hours on the ministry and then write on the back that they also spent 20 hours on JWD!
Awesome!

I'm prettey sure that any additional tracts that are placed beyond a publisher's 50, come from the same number that were printed. The "extras" are usually taken from the allotment not picked up at the book counter, or scrounged from publishers who haven't dumped their load of them and contribute them to the zealots and Pioneers who are out all the time making a fool of themselves.

Most people in our Congregation have run out of tracts now. BUT Bethel only sent us exactly enough tracts so each publisher in the Congregation could have 50. The literature guy phoned Bethel and asked if we could have any more since so many people were asking for spares and being told there were none. The guy at Bethel told him that they couldn't send anymore as they had only printed 50 per publisher.
So, even though many will have placed more than 50, it can only balance out for those who haven't.
If anybody wants me to send you one, I've managed to round up over 150 now! :) -

I don't believe there is much door knocking going up, just putting it in the door. I remember one campaign where individual JWs were crowing about how many they left, and congregations were getting quite competitive. Urban congregations, left more, since their houses were closer together more densely populated, so they had "left" more thus meaning they were better Christians, of course.
