Has anyone ever tried to push the idea of NY having to give up their large lists of pedo's to the authorities? I know it was done in Cali.

When the UN scandal got into the mainstream media, the cowards at Brooklyn resigned from the UN within TWO DAYS. If this ever gets out into the main media, I mean bigtime, even more than it has already, then Brooklyn will probably bring in some 'new light' and maybe drop the 'two witness' rule for child abuse infringements. That will be a good thing, but it would only go to prove that the only thing motivating them is saving Corporate face, nothing to do with righteousness and love. Hypocrites and cowards.

They would just consider it lies and persecution.
However, it will make the less ardent JW begin to think and hopefully reduce the amount of people who join the cult.
Sadly, those who can think no wrong of the WTBTS, because they already have God and the bOrg mixed up in their minds, will not accept any of this. They have been expecting persecution all of their lives. As much as the average JW needs to know what is happening, it's the fodder of the future, the general public that REALLY need to be informed!

A few years back Date Line did a story on JW's and child abuse, I think it was on a Thursday night. The Org. knew about the date of airing before, so that night there was a letter read, that was sent out in advance. I think it was some new light that victims have the right to go to the authorities!
