What time will you start? Also what frwy exit is it off. I know I have been to that El Torito but it has been a long time since I was in that area. I'm hoping I can attend this one.

It looks like the exit is BARRANCA ST. I referenced MapQuest but you might prefer to phone the restaurant (the number is in Sandy's opening post)

....sandy, i'll be in hollywood thru the end of october. how far am i from this area? would love to meet some "other apostates" face to face

It's too far to walk from Hollywood to West Covina (Forest Gump could probably run it, though).

Will you have a car while you are there? It's a pretty straight shot on the freeways.

I usually takes me about 2.5 - 3 hours to get there from Ventura county. Only takes just over an hour to get home. (about 75 miles each way from my home)

Yep, you were right Aude it is off the Barranca St exit............. .2 Miles and turn right on E. Garvey.

I think I'll be able to make. I have gone to a couple of them in Irvine and really enjoyed myself.

I am so sorry but I forgot to tell you that I changed the meetup date to Oct. 28th same time and place. Please let me know if you cannot make it on the 28th. I can still make it this Friday but the others from the meetup.com site are planning for the 28th. Sorry again . . .
