Want to know how life really isnt fair....

I was reading some stuff on her web page, she just gave birth to her second child on July 31st which is a month after her husband died in a roll over accident in Las Vegas. I dont know why but for some reason I am super bummed out for her. I dont normally get like that but reading the stuff she put on her web site about her husband broke my heart. (Just a Little) It seems her world is falling apart and just two months ago she was completely happy.

Life may be fair or unfair depending on how you look at it but one thing is for sure, it really does suck sometimes.

It appears that she lost most of her money by gambling online, and what was left was used to purchase a house.

Now she has no husband, no money and two small children (one an infant) to support!

That is rough.

I like what you said Ian. You sound like my parents. They always looked at the positive side of life despite what difficulties are throwed at us, and they encouraged my brothers and I to be the same. This has helped me a lot. i still have a silly sense of humour although my life is quite awful at present.

Humour is what gets me through too - every day I look in the mirror and have a good laugh at myself and that thing called gravity! (excuse the punning!) Ironhead I hope things look up for you soon ... are you problems the surmountable kind?

None of that proves she's happy. I never heard that money and fame are essential for contentment in life. On the other hand, belief that life should be fair will, without fail, lead to misery.
