I only watched the cartoon and left the site once the ad or whatever it was opened (didn't even read it!)
The cartoon had a wise message to it - everybody's on the make at heart - even the hermit who had the right intentions. If the ad after was trying to sell you something then it was fulfilling what the cartoon was about!
So, which bit caused all the hate mail??
People would rather pop a pill than work at solving their symptoms in a lot of cases. So it's not surprising that pharmaceutical companies line their pockets and still cater to an already existing demand for "quickie fixes".

If the baby boomers aren't going to fare well in old age, then there is even less hope for those that follow.
After all, they have been exposed to MORE pollutants, drugs and whathaveyou.
