My JW family, young and old, elders and not, go on JW-oriented cruises quite regularly. I have been maintaining no contact with them for about a year now, but previously, they just gushed about what great fun they all had doing it.

I think it would be great if we could all organize a special international convention of X-JWs. I'd just love to meet you all, and I'm sure most feel the same way. I could go for a cruise, or a week in Fiji, or Alaska, or. . . . . .Brooklyn???????????? Wouldn't it be great to make a mighty shout of praise to Ray Franz in gratitude for his integrity?

On his cruise was a mini-congregation of Dubs.

I would have loved to be on that cruise- and could I be so lucky as to have Danny Haszard on it, too! Can you imagine the fun we would have running into the Dubs on the cruise ship- at breakfast, lunch, at the pool, casino-oops, dinner- no place would be safe. The only way for them to avoid having us talk to them is to- Jump Overboard!
    smiles,

In 1983 I went on a cruise (one of the Carnivale ships) and there was a whole slew of JW's on there. I asked how they all got together, she told me there was a JW travel agency in Florida that booked all the cruises. This was the height of the Love Boat fame and so many people were taking cruises then, I remember the disco and the JW's were the most fun and also drank the most. Although they stayed away from the casino, they spent plenty time dancing to Donna Summer.
