Hey, I was reading online that some of the one pound coins have "Nemo me impune lacessit" milled around the edges. Are those coins in circulation there?? Cause I would like to have to have one from this year (2006). Please contact me if you can help me out.

I can pop down to the bank and se if they've got one. There are a fair few designs for each year.
I have a bunch of those one pound coins. I have them over from my trips to England which i am originally from don't know how it can help.
Ok, I now understand that the coin with the scottish lion was only made in 1994 and 1999. IF someone can put their hands on one that is in fairly good condition, or 2 better yet, ill spot the shipping and whatever it costs you to get it . Thanks

What happened to "Scottish" friends? I am Scottish, by the way...
Having raided my piggy bank (can't believe I am doing this) all I can find are £1 coins with the following:
1. a dragon
2. some sort of bridge (forth rail bridge?)
3. a funny celtic circle
4. a strange sort of palm tree with a crown round it (disconcertingly like an illustration used in the literature for the binding of the tree in Daniel 4)
