A friend of mine that has been inactive told me yesterday she has accepted a Bible Study with an Elder She see's alot wrong in the congrgation yet feels guilty for giving up on Jehovah . Her husband no longer wants to be jw and does not want any help from the elders . She got hooked again because the elder told her that on judgement day she as an individual has to answer to Jah (no matter what her husband does )Can we all say ...fear ...amen. I asked her " But what if they are wrong , what if this is not the truth ?" she said she has thought about that . Then I asked , "is it going to be a real Bible study or do you get to read a paragraph then underline an answer ? " She said she is researching questions she wants answered . One was why does the literature say one thing and yet at the hall we teach something else?.( GOod , good go on ) I want to give her more to think about but I'm not sure how far to go , don't want her shutting down . She brought up Beth Sarim and wanted to know if I ever heard of it .........." why yes I do recall hearing about that house built for the Princes ", then I tell her let's look it up on the... internet..... because I can't remember all the details . So we did . Because she is only in her 20's she really has no idea about Russell or Rutherford . I gave a breif over veiw . Hopefully next time we talk she will have looked them up as well .
