Im starting to come to terms with the fact that im only temporary. Its been hard though, but the death of a couple of family members helped me with the process

Temporary. Always have felt that way, even being raised as a JW I thought I'd be killed off cos of how I thought. Now temporary from old age and death.

I believe I am eternal but I choose so, it doesnt mean its true. I would love to eat pizza and drink beer forever (as long as Stanley Shostak is not there).

Both temporary and eternal. Buddhism teaches that these aspects are but two sides of the same coin. They are human concepts that cannot begin to comprehend reality.

But, the key word in your question was "feel"

I "feel" my body is temporary ... but life and love are forever.
