Fw: Bizarre Video - Can this man save the world?

You might run a full search using HHO gas as the search topic. There is much info to be found. The question for us is two fold. 1.    Will the present day god of this world allow such an undeniably clean energy source to be used?

    Why not?

    Â

    Â and 2.Â

Will it be possible to use such a clean source of energy in the new world?

In the new world we will have horses. :-)

    Video Edition

    Greetings fellow Bizarros:

In an age of mass media and instant information thanks to the Internet, we all know that the fuel that runs the world, oil, will not last forever. With scary names like 'peak oil crisis' becoming more and more commonplace and a new initiative from the Bush administration to explore alternative fuel sources, the world is starting to wake up to the need for a renewable, and just as importantly, clean fuel source.

One of those sources is hydrogen. The advantage is that it is highly com-bustible, it is very clean and it is almost unlimited in the form of the water in the oceans. The disadvantage is that it takes more energy to produce hydrogen than the hydrogen yields.

But what if somebody were to come up with a process to create a hydrogen gas from water that is efficient and inexpensive? How do you think it would affect the world?

The man in this clip may have done just that. There aren't many details in this clip, but if he has really done what he claims, imagine what it would mean.

    Water Power... Water Fuel

    (Current Rating - 4.6!)

Will the dream of converting water into energy become a reality...or is this a hoax? Fox News ran this report of a man who swears he has discovered a way to separate Hydrogen from Oxygen inexpensively and use the Hydrogen as a fuel source.

    The link doesn't work purplesofa.

Can you give us an outline description?

Folks have been experimenting with used vegetable oil to fuel cars over here. I think that's based on releasing hydrogen somehow.

"Folks have been experimenting with used vegetable oil to fuel cars over here. I think that's based on releasing hydrogen somehow."

That's probably bio-diesel. It uses a process that is called... I believe... transesterification (big word).

I've made/used bio-diesel. Pretty cool stuff... but it isn't 'hydrogen'. If I am correct, the hydrogen is 'burned' in a converted gasoline vehicle - not a diesel-engined vehicle.

    Here's a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HF__Qlhtnws&search=water%20power

It isn't any secret that electricity can be used to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen.

There are problems with hydrogen -- the conversion is not efficient - it takes more energy to make hydrogen than you get when you burn the hydrogen, and storing hydrogen is problematic

I have doubts about this fellows claim of his hydrogen powered car, which seems to take water and convert it into hydrogen on demand. He's got to generate a lot of hydrogen pretty fast to do that - I would have expected to see more "plumbing" under the hood of his car.

It's a fraud. At best this guy can improve gas mileage a little (which is all he's actually claiming to have done heretofore, if you really dig deep into his claims).

This has been all over the internet. It doesn't help that some news channel bit off on it, w/o investigating enough to show the problems both with the technology, and the methodology of making the claims.

He's using something that does seem to work, the metal cutting technology, to get people to give him money for something that has lttle to no relationship to the metal cutting technology.

In principle, a fuel cell capable of removing hydrogen from ordinary tap water and utitlizing the combustive property for energy was around since 1838/39.

Did you see the MythBusters where they made this little electrolysis cell (powered by the car's battery, no less) and tried to pipe the hydrogen electrode thereof into the airflow through the engine? So stupid - the thing only held about 2 quarts of water. And the electric power to split the hydrogen had to come from the engine it was trying to fuel! It was from an urban myth plan published on the internet.

    Thermodynamics, anyone?

Adam got pissed off with it and piped some straight hydrogen right into the air intake with a hose from a big high-pressure tank. It ran pretty good for about 15 seconds and then ended up with a very satisfactory hydrogen backfire explosion.

    The mythbusters like explosions...

I'm all for seeing his idea developed . If it takes less gas to make the hydrogen than it does to use gas to get to a destination it's worth the look at . I'm thinking they could eventually use bio diesel or hemp oil to produce the hydrogen . With the scientific minds we have in the world I'm still staggered there isn't something way better out there in operation .

The problem with dingleberries like this guy is that they hurt people who are really trying to come up with good ideas!
