  Thanks for this info Dan. I did a response this morning on the subject of 607 BCE vs 586 BCE. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/115181/2019091/post.ashx#2019091

  To me and to everyone else here (except for trolls like scholar ), it's obvious that the Society's date of 607 BCE is not correct. No one else has so much to lose as what the Governing Body does if this date is shifted. In fact, no one else BESIDES the Governing Body has anything to lose over this date. Why would any historian or archaeologist purposely try to "hide the truth" about what date Jerusalem was destroyed? What would their motive be?

  Only fools like scholar who have so much invested in this date have anything to lose.
