Here are the Liberal's hypocritical heroes

Let's not be too hard on liberals. Most of them are basically nice people. After all, they want nothing but good things for other people and they want bad things to stop happening to other people. For the most part, they believe fervently in the Golden Rule. Unfortunately, this makes them vulnerable to political causes that cynically exploit their childlike desire for everybody to 'just be nice!' . The most obvious weakness that gets exploited is their desire for the vague principle of "fairness" to be the standard of governance. They would like the world to be run like a soccer game, with umpires or referees enforceing the rules so that no one is at an unfair disadvantage. Ultimately, this sweet, childlike flaw makes them perfect pawns for a tendancy toward Socialism, historically the most unsuccessful and cruel forms of government ever implemented by mankind. I say "a tendancy toward Socialism" because the most fervent liberals thrive best under the umbrella of freedoms they enjoy under democratic, capitalist forms of government. Ironic, huh? Under real Socialist governments you don't find many true liberals because most of them have a very low standard of living and, mui importante! they might get thrown in jail or have their heads blown off or sent to the gulag if they dissent above a whisper. I could go on and on but I want to keep this short.

The bottom line is that most libs are like spoiled, naive teens. "The US government (parent) is just so screwed up!! We hate them! If only we could call the shots! It's so simple! Let's make banners and go downtown and protest!" Afterwards we can go to a concert and then go home to our comfortable home and listen to our wonderful liberal music and watch TV and thaw a pizza (if those stupid parents remembered to stock the kind I like!).

Yes, it's hard to argue that peace is better than war. The problem is getting your enemies to agree. Otherwise, they will just come and kill you and take your stuff. It's as simple as that, kids.

Then they go back to theirwarm room to

    >Now if you guys (republicans) really believe that life should be valued, as you seem to be saying by your stance on abortion, why the f*ck did you go out and kill thousands of innocent people in Iraq? No need to answer we know it already....the world is a safer place without Saddam and the Iraqis needed democracy... and the weapons are in Syria.
Hey Dipstick. I notice that you are a liberal Canadian (not all Canadians are liberal stooges). What are your measly amount of soldiers doing to end the terrorist threat right there in Toronto? Are you stupid or what? Do you want to fight the radical Islamists in the middle east or right there in good old Toronto, or Montreal? You libs are too stupid to see the threat to your wonderful, secular, frozen chunk of heaven. You pay higher taxes on everything and still have to wait three weeks for a emergency room visit? LOL Socialist heaven, Canada is! We liberated 55 million people with the careful and tactical use of 150,000 soldiers and the best tech in the world. We saved your frigid behinds from the Stalinists for 40 plus years then buried the Soviets without firing a shot. You better hit your knees and thank God for America.

Every time Rex gets leveled on a thread, he runs and starts a new one. I don't think we should respond to his threads......(I can stop anytime I want, I promise....just one more reply......)

If liberalism is a mental illness, then i wonder what they call it when you just can't stand the fact that not everyone believes as you do. Maybe "never had a chance to grow up"? Either way, franticly starting new threads and posting rant after rant uncontrolably must attest to complete sanity, for sure.

uh, no rex. democrats are not liberals. democrats are conservatives that wear different patterned ties. that's why i think the new neil young album about impeaching the idiot prez is idiotic itself. didn't willie nelson school some flaming democratic late night talk show host recently about that? ya, what he said about remembering to breathe.

uh, daniel-p? was that it? Not much substance there, boy. You sound just like the petulant teeny type I described. Go read a book without pictures in it sometime.

Daniel-p, my last post was way too harsh. I'm sorry. But you are just in the process of getting untangled from the org. For your sake I hope you will not jump into a political identity too soon. Seriously, read as much history as you can. That's all I can say. Best to you and your family.

I take pride in being relatively open-minded - not emptyminded - but willing to question my own beliefs. I do not consider myself a liberal or conservative since I do not like categories or labels of any kind and think they do little more than to help people think something without knowing why they think that way. I do read a lot when I can and enjoy reading about American history. The more I read, the less confidence I have in the ability for this nation to last an extended period of time without economic collapse. Currently, I am going back to the basics and reading and comparing Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations with Karl Marx's Capital, which reflects my division and mistrust towards both socialism and capitalism. I have not and will likely not take on a political identity in the foreseeable future - I believe there is danger in believing in one sole paradigm, which is part of the problem we have now in this country ripping itself apart.
