If you find 'we'er JW' la la la going around and around, sing the lumberjack song and it will purge it out of your brain.
    All together now

    "I'm a lumberjack and I'm alright

I work all day and I sleep all night

I chop down trees I eat my lunch

    I go to the lava-treee

on wednesdays I go shopping have buttered scones for tea"

    Chourus repeat

    I chop down trees
I skip and jump I like to press wild flowers
I put on womens clothing and hang around in bars

    Chourus repeat

I chop down trees I wear high heels
    suspendies and a bra
I wish I was a girly just like my dear papa

At least i thnk that is how it goes.

    I prefer this version.

We have turned to wood and stone, for the true God true we've not known.

He is Governing Body, As he's often shown.

Brooklyn gods just cannot see, what in future days will be.

Thier witnesses all live in pain, Since none their godship can maintain.

Chorus: We're Jehovah's witnesses, We speak out of witlessness. Ours is the God of book publishing, we send in time-slips just to He.

    2. You're my witneses' Fred said, other gods you need not dread.

I re-wrote your Bible, and your elders lead.

I both lied and stole from you, years you can't replace it's true.

Be good book-sellers, wear out your car; prove that my witnesses you are.

Chorus: We're Jehovah's witnesses, We speak out of witlessness. Ours is the God of book publishing, we send in time-slips just to He.

    3. From blood uses we refrain, only fractions we will take.

We judge all others as wicked men, hope to sell them when we can.

Pardon we hold out to men, if Watchtowers they take again.

Thus bearing witness brings dollars in, and supports our Gods Brooklyn.

Chorus. We're Jehovah's witnesses, We speak out of witlessness. Ours is the God of book publishing, we send in time-slips just to He.

VM44--LOL I was not expecting that when I came on this thread. Talk about memories. I used to love that song when I was a JW, wow it sure is total crap looking at it now!

In one congregation I was in about 12 years ago they used to hold sign-language classes once a week for the benefit of a deaf sister who had no-one to talk to. I attended one of these and learned to SIGN that song. Picture a room full of people waving their arms around to the words "Men make gods of wood and stone, but the true God they've not known..." for about two hours. Totally bizarre.
