Country Girl is right. It sounds like you just started studying with the JWs, or you would know dating/marrying a non JW is a big no-no.
The JWs are indeed clever; at the start, they sugar coat their doctrine so it doesn't sound so bad. Once they get you hooked, then they slowly add more and more, so subtly and gradually that you barely notice your rights slipping away, until you have virtually none left.
I have a feeling you haven't reached that stage yet, so GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!
