What if we send all the JW pedophile info to the ones who contract coliseums/sports arenas to the JWs?

Also send it to the ones who supply paper/ink to the WTBTS? The manufacturers of the new presses?

    Thoughts?

They worship the almighty dollar so they probably won't care. Too bad though.

Do they serve food still at conventions? Health code violations anyone?

    Long live Elvis....wait....never mind.

unless we publish info that certain companies help sustain the operations of a religion that protects pedophiles. then they think 2x before supplyin the wt.

    peace out all my homies

They have stopped serving food for some years now. Can't recall when it exactly happened, but the way I calculate it is; I've been married for almost 13 years and they were serving for a few years after we were married but sometime in the middle, they stopped and we slowly stopped going. Not because of the food, but for other reasons.

The Catholic Church has no problems renting facilities for their conferences, despite even more news about pedophile priests and other religious employees than about the WTS.

Some people have infiltrated conventions using homemade ID badges made from scans that have been posted here.

Last year there was a campaign to deposit the Watchtower Checks in the contributions boxes. We came up with some other ideas too... going in early (under the premise of getting good seats) and slipping the WT Checks into literature that was placed on saved seats, for example. Or looking through books left at the Lost & Found and slipping WT Checks into those. The beautiful thing about doing this is that JWs may not find them until after they've returned home... and in the privacy of their home, they just might be inclined to look at the websites. If they were to find them placed on their seat at the convention, they'd feel compelled to toss it in the trash bin.

    Greetings!

The bottom line is that it would be extremely unlikely to prevent a DC from happening - when it has happened in the past it was usually the Government that took such action, sometimes due to pressure from religious leaders. That wouldn't happen in the U.S. or many democratic countries.

Part of the question is whether the facility is a public facility or a private facility. If it is a public facility the Government/Local Municipality etc. would be hard pressed to deny JWs the use of the facility if they have allowed the use of it by other groups, or else it would face a valid claim of discrimination/violation of Civil Rights, etc.

A Privately owned facility may have more leeway in picking and choosing who they will rent the facilities to and might be more pursuaded by a campaign.

this statement from the Society's District Convention manual was interesting....

There is no need to talk about the delegates bringing their own food to eat at noon. This can cause local merchants and others to become alerted to matters not their business.

I think that it would be a surprise to the surrounding merchants, including the Hotels from the hotel list, to learn that the Society considers it none of their business that the thousands of delegates have been officially instructed to ignore them and bring their own lunch.

Whether such merchants have any influence over the facility owner is a question.

    Greetings!

there is no need to "infiltrate" the Convention using a mock of the badges.

The fact is that many Witnesses do not wear their badges or they were them where they are not seen, so anyone who is dressed appropriately and who looks the part, with normal hair, no facial hair, etc. is not going to singled out. they will be able to walk in with no problems and drop the fake dollars in the contribution boxes too. I bet even Randy W could walk in the convention and not get noticed. (Sorry there is no way for you Danny Hazard :-) not to draw attention)

Having said that, the badges are quite fun. I used a mock one last summer for the DC just for the fun of it and the color was just slightly off but no one noticed.

But it isn't necessary, since so long as you look the part, have the right props and don't say something too outlandish, you would have no problems engaging anyone in conversation - unless they know you of course and know your status.

    You know this? How?

Not many function centres host NAMBLA (not the Marlon Brando one; the other one) conventions.
