Rutherford was not only campaigning for a politician, he was campaigning for a religious leader as well!

Both began in the early part of the 20th century. Both sprang from Christianity's attempt to deal with modern problems. Yet they had radically different goals. As politician and religious leader, William Jennings Bryan played a prominent role in both movements.

Rutherford spent 17 years working as a lawyer and for political causes.

Although he knew about the Bible Students in 1894, he waits until 1906 before becoming baptised and starting to work for Charles Russell.

One wonders if Rutherford was not very successful in law and politics, and so made the switch over to religion in which he eventually became very successful, becoming the head of an entire religious organization!

So, are there any authentic original sources that prove that Rutherford campaigned for this man?

If Rutherford campaigned for Bryan, it was to Bryan's detriment. Poe guy, no wonder he lost three times.
