If you think about it, the fact that a JC is done in secret is another reason to be in fear - if you make it through without being DF, you are so scared anyone will ever find out about you, further creating that controlled environment.

In response to your query regarding the secret activities of Judicial committees, and the fact that such is a insubordination against the word of God, we would like to refer you to 1 Thessalonians 4:11, where it says " 11 and to make it YOUR aim to live quietly and to mind YOUR own business and work with YOUR hands, just as we ordered YOU."
We can see here that the issue at hand is that you need to shut up and finish mopping the floor and cleaning the windows, bitch. We are spirit directed, everything we do is what God would do. And if it isn't, we change it in a Watchtower article, and then refer back to it in 10-15 years. Duh.
