I doubt there would be many people from Canada that would join, given the low JW rates here, but I'd definately check it out.
Well it would be for ex witnesses and I think more than a few ppl. would join.

Yes, I release that, but the math of the situation doesn't change. Low members of current JW's = Low rates of Ex-JW's
But I will join to support you in your quest
I don't think my hubbie would like that.

Blondie what if I give him free membership? Sickoflies that's why I think it would work b/c ppl. leave the witnesses all the time.

Hmmm, interesting idea but IMHO, I really think hooking "ex-JWs" up wouldn't be the best idea for creating happy relationships.
Why? Even though ex-JWs share alot of things in common, they also share alot of the same "emotional baggage" that would only be compounded by having 2 ex-dubs
in a relationship.I think its far healthier for ex-dubs to look for boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, within the "normal" non-JW universe, which really gives them
a cleaner slate in a relationship. An even better reason is that ex'JWs usually have "current JW" parents and families. I think its much better for a recovering JW
to at least have the "normal" parents of their "worldly" partner to ease their transition into the "real world" lol. In my case, it has been such an incredible experience
having my "worldly" in-laws (the parents of my "worldly wife" ) ease my transition into normalcy by joining my wife and I in christmas, birthdays, etc etc. Also, if we ever
decided to have kids, at least one set of grandparents would be able to participate in all the normal, fun things in childhood that I was denied by my JW family.
Just my 2 cents.....
After the emotional and mental abuse (a little physical, too) I suffered at the hands of a 'spiritually strong' sister.....
let me think about it for awhile.
Okay, I'm in!
I don't know Kid-A, some ex-jws have completely got over the experience. I wouldn't class myself as having any emotional baggage concerning the witnesses. There have been marriages due to this very web site, and I'm sure they would attest to the positive aspects of such a relationship.
