Thanks, yall! It seems unprecedented for them to act so quickly. I applied once before back in '92, but they fought me till I wasn't in a position to fight 'em anymore, so I worked until I couldn't. Their quick decision this time could have been because of my age perhaps, but I'm really glad it came through on a positive note.
Yes, anyone that's down this way (near Houston) can come for dinner when I get my own place. My daughter and fam have 2 Schnauzer's that they're going to breed when the female goes in heat the second time (first time not far off), and she's promised me a pup of my own from the first litter. So.....I'll have an adorable and loving companion to keep me company......along with all the terrific posters on this forum and in my xjdubya group mailing list.
