The No Blood stance makes No sense on any grounds.
The whole WTBTS doctrine on No Blood was never Biblical in the first place and neither is it scientific. Since it was always a symbolic gesture to drain blood from an animal, and all carnivores are eating blood, cooked or uncooked to sustain life, there was not an instance where, unless a person is a strict vegan, they are not taking blood into their bodies in one way or another.
As a JW told me yesterday, 'but it's getting better! We can take blood fractions now, if we want to !'
