Ok I have the February 15th 2006 Watchtower and starting on page 17 para 7 the GB are cashing in on a new catchword for this article and the next following ones.

WT study "An ADMINISTRATION" for Fulfilling God's purpose

Take from Ephesians 1:9,10. NWT Quote

Paul wrote: "He made known to us the sacred secret of his will. It is according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself for an adminstration at the full limit of the appointed times, namely, to gather all things together again in the Christ, and the things in the heaven's and the things on the earth." NWT

NIV says: ( 9) And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, ( 10) to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

KJV says: ( 9) Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: ( 10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

NASB says: ( 9) He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him ( 10) with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him

Ok now we can see the use of this word in the scriptures and possible intent. But the WTBTS Society is using this adminstration as a replacement for organization, one directed by the Governerning Body who represent the remaining ones of the 144,000 discreet slave class. I was curious and looked up the remaining biblical text they suggested reading ,to get a clearer picture apart from their input. Ephesians chapter 1 thru 3 mentions a sacred secret and what it is?The WTS says this sacred secret is the faithful flock of 144,000 kings and priest joined with the great crowd. But in reading these scriptures it really is talking about the joining of Jew's and Gentile Christians together to worship and honor God of the Jew's and Jesus as the messiah son who came to unite them. Now another thing struck me is I know there are biblical scholars who firmly believe the book of Ephesians is a latter addition by Paul's followers and not written by Paul at all. So though bible thumpers fully believe it is inspired, in reality it is just more words by men who pretended to represent Paul.

The next article that continues with these same admistration thoughts are on page 21

"Gathering Things in Heaven and Things on Earth" This article goes into show how only the faithful and discreet slave can lead Jesus followers, though the scriptures point to clearly show only Christ Jesus as their only leader. It talks about how only these faithful slave should partake of the wine and bread for the memorial on April 12th 2006. It takes Christianity right out of Jesus hands and into the "admistration" of the WTBTS.

"Walking in the Path of Increasing Light" page 26 is priceless. It goes into how the admistration of Jesus followers has been cared for by the faithful slave through the governing body of ignorant old men in New York who claim to speak for Jesus. Of course it shows how the rank and file followers must be completely loyal to this increasing light of the old men's dying light. Of course they carefully avoid their false prophetic nonsense they have pumped to followers all these years.

I thought as I finished reading these articles it just amazes me how the JW's manage to continue such nonsense and double speak. It is very sad but nothing has changed in fact it is worse than ever before I think.

So now you know the new catch word for JW's will be "Admistration" and it refers to Jesus directing his followers through the old farts in Bethel and by golly you better be faithful to them or be destroyed.

Oh one more thing in Questions from Readers pg 31 it shows how we are the wicked apostates who call the faithful JW's "dispicable fool", and how we are mutinous and will be set for everlasting destruction.

LOL It took them long enough to find a word they could actually point to as being in the Bible (unlike organization). I wonder if it will catch on...

Well they used it in paragraph after paragraph, if they continue to do that in all the watchtowers, I am sure it will. I think they are trying to move away from the use or organization. But the idiots, it means the same thing. LOL

Different word, almost identical meaning (definition from Princeton). The only reason I can think of for the change might be negative connotations that they perceive that the word "organization" has picked up over the years in connection with their religion.

Interesting. The verb administer carries a much stronger feel and meaning than organize. You can organize your socks but only CEO´s Administer.

The WTS is recycling an old idea regarding Ephesians 1:10 and “administration.”

“To Gather All Things Together Again in the Christ”

God’s purpose, says the apostle, is for what he calls “an administration [or management of affairs] at the full limit of the appointed times.” What does this mean? It means that God has a set time when he will act in such a way as “to gather all things together again in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth.” (Ephesians 1:10) Yes, God has set in motion an arrangement to bring everything in heaven and on earth back into harmony under his direct control. Interestingly, regarding the term here rendered ‘to gather together again,’ Bible scholar J. H. Thayer notes: “Bring together again for himself . . . all things and beings (hitherto disunited by sin) into one combined state of fellowship in Christ.”

. At Ephesians 1:10, the “administration” refers to (the Messianic Kingdom; the Governing Body; God’s way of managing his household affairs). [si p. 221 par. 8]

    *** w90 11/15 p. 24 Unity Certain Through Christ ***

First, Paul explained how God would bring about unity through Christ. (1:1-23) Jehovah purposed to gather all things in heaven and on earth together again by means of “an administration” (a way of administering affairs).

    *** w86 4/15 pp. 6-7 The Bible—The Book for All Mankind ***

    An Administration for Peace

“It is according to [God’s] good pleasure which he purposed in himself for an administration at the full limit of the appointed times, namely, to gather all things together again in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth,” explained Paul. (Ephesians 1:9, 10) What is this “administration”?

The term is translated from the Greek word oi·ko·no·mi´a, which basically means “the management of a household.” Thus, even though mankind is divided politically, racially, economically, and religiously, God has purposed to eliminate all these divisive forces and to bring all obedient mankind together again as a happy family earth wide. How will he do this? He will accomplish it through the Messianic Kingdom in the hands of his Son, Jesus Christ.—See Daniel 2:44; Isaiah 9:6, 7.

    *** w84 2/1 p. 16 United Worshipers of the Only True God ***

2 Ephesians 1:9, 10 draws attention to this “administration,” saying: “It is according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself for an administration [or, a procedure for managing affairs of the household] at the full limit of the appointed times [from Pentecost of 33 C.E. onward], namely, to gather all things together again in the Christ, the things in the heavens and [later on] the things on the earth.” The gathering of “the things in the heavens,” that is, individuals who would be with Christ in his heavenly Kingdom, was first from among the Jews, next the Samaritans and then the Gentiles.

    *** w75 5/1 p. 286 Do You Remember? ***

How should we understand the words of Ephesians 1:9, 10 about God’s purposing ‘an administration to gather all things together in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth’?

This “administration” is God’s managing, stewarding or particular way of handling matters with a view to unifying disciples destined for the heavens under Christ as Head and to bring the rest of mankind on the earth into harmony again with himself through Christ.—Pp. 616, 622.

*** w74 10/15 pp. 635-636 Growing in Appreciation for the “Divine Purpose” ***

    GOD’S ADMINISTRATION AND KINGDOM

An assembly highlight always is the talk to which the public is especially invited. Jehovah’s witnesses are delighted to see the thousands of visitors who respond to the invitation to consider God’s purpose. This year the striking subject was “Human Plans Failing as God’s Purpose Succeeds.” It focused attention on the Bible passage at Ephesians 1:10, which speaks of God’s “administration at the full limit of the appointed times” for the blessing of mankind. What is this “administration”?

“The term ‘administration’ does not mean the Messianic ,” the speaker emphasized. No, rather, it refers to God’s way of administering or managing things, his procedure in handling matters with a view to producing unity. The instrument God uses in his “administration” or management of things, it was shown, is the kingdom of his Son Jesus Christ.

    *** w66 4/1 p. 197 Proving Yourself a Loyal Subject of Christ the King ***

It is because Christ’s kingdom is a government or, as the apostle Paul called it, “an administration” to bring “all things together again in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth.” (Eph. 1:10) (OLD LIGHT) Additionally, the fact faces us that this government, from its heavenly capital, has openly declared its purpose to control and exercise regal administration over every square foot of the 196,950,284 square miles of earth’s surface. (Ps. 2:6, 8, 9) This, naturally, includes the country and area where you live.

Typical Watchtower deceit. You take a simple word that refers to dispensing and twist it into a hierarchy of command,

    "administration".

    How about "Opinionated leaders?"

That would be a more honest catchword.
