Interesting. Islam is so accepting of other cultures and religions.

Try practicing your culture or religion in Saudia Arabia and see what happens. I lived in Saudia Arabia for 4 years (76 to 79) and there were so many things you were not allowed to take in that country; no holy books except the Koran, unless you wanted to risk getting caught smuggling a bible there. Any other kind of religious service other than Islam had to be done underground. No cameras out in public. No alcohol. No pork; women had to wear long skirts and long sleeves out in public no matter how hot it was there and women were not allowed to drive at all there.

And, oh yeah, a lot of Saudis were prejudiced toward Americans there.

Is tolerance and acceptance to be practiced only after one has achieved its illegitimate goals through dastard deeds? Consider the forceful and devious acquisition of indigenous people's homeland ( Where was tolerance then? Was it not but boldface banditry? What about the bringing of "Light" to Hawaiian ( ) ? It certainly made the Natives lighter after most if not all of their resources were alighted by the immediate descendants of the "Light-bearers" and the native lores, customs and culture were "torched" to bring them into "light". Where was acceptance and fairplay then? What of the coveting of oil rich countries and "banana republics"? Was it really to introduce "democracy and equality" there? I could imagine the "god disdaining heathen" Mark Twain with a note pad in hand having a field trip today!!! as he criss-crosses the continents noting the "acceptance and tolerance and fairplay" displayed by the insatiable bloated-belly "first world" nations that have acquisitioned pretty much most of the world's resources through "legal corporate inquisition" of the inhabitants of "third world". Don't forget "first world" nations are "Christian" Nations. Or is it? How Christian can it be when as they profess to be worshiping the prince of peace are executing preemptive strikes? Their Lord was not only tolerant and accepting but went further to admonish "whoever strikes you on the right cheek turn the other also to him". Is it possible for a Hindu Gandhi to be more Christian than those intolerant non-accepting Christians claimants of the Falwell- Robertson’s ilk?.

Granted, there are nice Christians, Muslims, and Jews but the atrocities caused in it's name are not above reproach, neither are the atrocities in judaism where God commanded them to smash infants on Rock's.

WHY do you accuse GOD of commanding this!

2 Kings 8:12 Hazael said, Why weeps my lord [Elisha]? He answered, Because I know the evil that you will do to the children of Israel: their strongholds will you set on fire, and their young men will you kill with the sword, and will dash in pieces their little ones, and rip up their women with child. HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!! Hazael was an evil King! Elisha was WEEPING that this may happen. 2 Kings 8:19 However Yahweh would not destroy Judah, for David his servant's sake, as he promised him to give to him a lamp for his children always. Hazael was a powerful and ruthless king of Damascus, in Syria. He became King after murdering Ben-hadad in 841 bc. Elisha SEEN in a vision what he wanted to do but GOD prevented it!
