What is a PVG (i think it's Patient Visitation Group)? It was mentioned in the recent letter at the service meeting.
What does the PVG do?
And how is it related to the HLC and the local body of elders?

With respect that was also explained in the enormously long letter read last night.
HIS (Hospital Inforamtion Services) oversees the work of the HLC Hospital Liason Committees.
The HLC in any area oversees the PVG Patient Visitation Groups.
When a witness is hospitalized for ANY reason the ycan get visits from the PVG - The HLC works as a "liason-teaching etc" to surgeons etc

But that's exactly it, isn't it? I don't recall the letter saying who the PVG members are. Elders? HLC members? Nosey sisters? Overbearing brothers?
All that was mentioned was which committee oversees which, if I recall correctly.
So does anyone know what sorta JWs make up a PVG?
