Netanyahu will likely return to power since Ariel Sharon had a massive stroke.
I just hope Netanyahu doesn't follow the lead of Sharon and give God's land away to the Palestinians. God gave that land to Israel. God will punish him like he punished Sharon . Wait and see. It's only a matter of time.

Didn't you see my reference to the 700 Club? The comment does sound stupid but that is what the idiot Pat Robertson said on his religious program the 700 Club.

The Middle-east situation grows more serious because of Hamas' victory. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole region doesn't become a battleground with the potential for a nuclear holocaust.
The last political party, Fatah, became corrupt and the members were taking money for themselves while the Hamas organization was going around offering charity to the people. This won the people over for the vote.
What will happen is Hamas will make a lot of noise about "Death to Israel", but over time they will realize that talking to Israel is far more productive than blowing things up. This will force Hamas to mellow out and start to actually talk to Israel. In time the Hamas members will get drunk with power like the Fatah people and they too will become corrupt and will start stealing money and neglecting the people.
Once that happens, yet another terrorist groups will come along and start offering charity to the people and the cycle will start all over again.
Radical organizations are all inherently corrupt and criminal and will always show their true colors when given any form of real power.
If Netenyahu wins, the whole area will be very highly polarized and I fear there will be even more bloodshed than there is already

Yah those fundies sound pretty retarded with their , " US should back Israel because it's still God's people blah blah friggen blah".
