When made in to an ointment or juice, it probably is bland. You'd need the onions and butter!

The candy marshmallows were originally made from Marsh Mallow. It was used as a thickener.
It has little taste and a slimy flavour when unseasoned. It is used to soothe the stomach from ulcers, etc.
The heck with salt on my marsh mallow - gimme sugah!
