Question on downsizing

    I think they have answered my questions. What are they doing at Bethel? . . . Nothing! Why do they need Bethel? . . . They don't!

    Why are they keeping all those people? . . . They're not! What's gonna happen to the excess people? . . . They really don't actually care!

    Basically, Bethel is a very inefficient bereaucratic institution with all levels of "accomodation" for those who are "made-men." Among the mid to upper ranks, there is a good-ol-boy network to the extreme.

    yes, because the first thing you are taught at Bethel is your 3 priorities:
    1. Family
    2. Bethel
    3. Congregation

    Meaning, of course, that Bethel work comes before meeting attendance. A lot of Bethelites take advantage of this and linger around late at work so they don't have to go all way out to their meeting. Don't blame them, really,
