I haven't seen or heard Rush in a very long time. When I used to listen to him, I really liked him. But my husband turned me into one of those Republicans. But once in awhile my hidden liberal side comes out. But as far as your question goes, I would put Rush as only about 50 to 55 years old. So without researching it, I would have to say that Rush is not a sophist.
