If H. floresiensis is in fact a new species, it's one that existed until 12,000 years ago—

But everybody knows that Jehovah created the earth some 6000 years ago!

No, not really XJMS, I just like to come around once in awhile to bring back old, very bad, Witness jokes so I can hear all the groans.

I am curious as to how Creationists would explain these findings. Perhaps Jehovah created these "Hobbits" for a specific purpose (like dinosaurs) and when his purpose was finished he had them executed with a deluge of water?

Another big upset for evolutionist theory as we now have humans with just 320cc brain capacity (lower than that of many apes) that are fully intelligent, so a lot of fundamental principles will be overturned.
