    The CO, Alan Hood, made no bones about his dislike

    Cygnus, would this be Alan "Blinky" Hood? He was our last CO before being re-assigned to Florida. He was very dispondent when he left as he believed Florida was the last stop before being put out to pasture. Do they have windows in Florida KHs?

    Its a question that has only come about in recent years about windows in Kingdom Halls.

    I've been in many Kingdom Halls with windows. Even newly built ones. Many that have windows have now had to put bars or mesh on them because of vandalism.

    The KH I first went to had windows. But when we had to look for a new place and we found a ready built structure with no windows. It was decided not to put windows in as it would have added greatly to the cost. Also it meant that we could have double-wall insulation installed.
