I last posted in November and have been taking a break from all things JW/exJW/WT including my Facebook and Twitter accounts which I only rarely used in any case.
But yesterday I got a message from Facebook that someone had tried to access my account, fine - I changed my password to something stronger but in visiting my page I noticed I was now a member of a secret group called AAWA. I posted a short question on their timeline; "I see I'm a member of this group. How come?"
No response, but within minutes I'd been deleted from the group.
So I've spent the last couple of hours trying to review the last 6 months on JWN to find out about AAWA. . . my, my! You guys have been having fun haven't you?! I'm not sure how much more activism I'll be engaged in, probably very little for personal reasons most of you understand, but I did just want to clear one thing up publicly before I retreat back into ex-exJWism.
I had a rather public 'go' at Cedars about 6 months ago (Is it just me or is JWN going through a nice phase at the moment?). I stand by every word I posted there but still, I'd rather my last words to him weren't that he "grow a pair".
So Cedars, if your still reading posts here I'd like to say this; You DO have balls. I appreciate much of what you've done but I also think you've made some howling errors of judgement. I hope you'll listen to the voices of constructive criticism all around you to which I'll add nothing as it's all been said anyway. Please look after yourself, your sanity and the people you love. Rest if you need to.
Being 'Anti-Watchtower' should not define you, our real fight should be FOR the hearts, minds, futures, careers, health and 'real' happiness of our families and loved ones. Fuck the Watchtower, we need to reach over their heads to the ones we care about.
