    My email:

Before we parted ways last you challenged me to find information on people
wrongly disfellowshipped. Here is some information that might help you answer
the question of "Has the Watchtower ever wrongly disfellowshipped members?"

Attached is an image that explains the evolution of the Watchtower explanation
of Matthew 24:34 which is the "this generation" prophecy that Jesus referred to.

Now let me give you a scenario:

Lets say someone believes that the Generation Jesus was referring to was
connected to 1914 in some way, which is what they have been taught since they
were a child. The Watchtower would agree with that person's assertion UNTIL 1995
where they abolished the doctrine and connected "this generation" to a general
"wicked people of the earth" explanation. Many people strongly disagreed with
the Society on this change and could not wrap their head around the explanation.
If these people that were voicing their concern on the senselessness of the new
explanation did not change their view to the new teaching they would be DF'ed
    for Apostasy.

Fair enough. But the problem arises come 2010 when the "this generation"
explanation went through it's 6th doctrinal reform and was AGAIN connected to
the 1914 date, of which would validate the members that were DF'ed for Apostasy
    many years earlier.

This is just food for thought and information on the question you gave me at
Caldwell Park. I will cease online communication with you unless you say
    otherwise.

    Have a good day.

    -Alex

    His reply:

Are you kidding me? This is all you have?

First, I asked for you to give me a name of a specific real life
individual. Secondly, I asked you to give the circumstances of that
specific individuals disfellowshipping. Thirdly, what steps did they
take that showed repentance before and after the disfellowshipping.
Lastly, what was the reason the brothers within the congregation gave
    for the disfellowshipping.

You, just as in our conversation in the park, can actually provide no
facts behind your so called "research". You use ignorant circular
reasoning and you dodge conversation topics once cornered to provide
proof of your "facts" as you call them. I presented to you many
questions as to the reasons for your actions and beliefs that you were
    and are unable to answer.

In your email below you provided none of the answers requested just as
in our previous conversation. You exist on hate, bitterness,
vindictiveness, selfishness, haughtiness, pride, blaming of others, and
a need for validation that you will never receive because of your
actions and the way you present yourself. Now both your wife and you are
accusing your extended family of backstabbing you and treating you
    wrongly.

I told you to find the truth if it exists as you see it and offer that.
Instead you attack what you don't believe and are offering nothing in
return. By the way, the facts as you have provided regarding the
generations and the Watchtower Society are grossly inaccurate. As is
everything you have offered so far. Alex , you are a fool.

I have told you previously that I personally have no interest in any
form of communication with you. Please do not contact me again.

    Thank you,

    Whoa nelly!

Oooo, your cousin's response shows that he either doesn't understand the many convolutions of the "Generation" teaching, or that he wasn't paying attention; STILL isn't paying attention, and doesn't want to know...

I think I perceived quite a bit of "projection" and "displacement" in his vituperative reply to you... HE accuses you of:

"exist on hate, bitterness, vindictiveness, selfishness, haughtiness, pride, blaming of others, and a need for validation that you will never receive because of your actions and the way you present yourself. ..."

Yet, HE is the one spewing bile, instead of adressing your valid comments about the "Generation" flip-flops...

His comments regarding your research are CLASSIC examples of "projection" - projecting HIS behavior onto YOU and then attacking YOU for supposedly being "guilty" of what is, in fact, HIS BEHAVIOR... His comments that you:

"use ignorant circular reasoning and you dodge conversation topics once cornered to provide proof of your "facts" as you call them. ..."

Nooooo, that's what the Watchtower Society and all of its good little minions do, silly cousin!!!

Sheesh. If that were MY cousin??? I'd say good riddance to bad rubbish...

You exist on hate, but if we compare the tone of the two e-mails, it is clear who really exists on hate. Also notice that nowhere in the e-mail does he goes into your arguments.

You can't reason with brainwashed drones!

BTW, if we take that elders are not infallible, it logically follows some of the DF cases are wrong. If not, why would there be a possibility to repeal? Why can the CO cancel DF cases?

In our congregation, the BOE DF'd a sister because she celebrated christmas. On the next CO visit, the sister was reinstated because celebrating christmas is not a DF offense.

In another congregation, an entire BOE was demoted because they did not DF a brother who committed adultery. Now if an entire BOE was not worthy to operate for YEARS, it is logical that they might also have wrongfully DF'd someone.

Well, that was interesting. If he wants examples of someone DF'd wrongly, look no further than Barbara Anderson. I believe if you PM her she can give you links to all of her information. They don't get more upright and wrongly treated than Barbara.

Or you could send him a link to Slient Lambs and Bill Bowen's story, being DF'd wrongly. There are lots of stories out there. He may not read it right away but you never know.....

StAnn: He will probably either say that those evil apostates are lying, or that the holy spirit guided the brothers to DF them because the holy spirit knew their evil apostate hearts.

I think we're all missing the greatest disfellowshipping of ALL time: The Apostle Peter. He REJECTED Christ Jesus Himself, on the very Passover night of his capture by the Romans. He did this THREE times, and yet Jesus forgave him.

I'd say the second greatest disfellowshipping was that of Ray Franz. I mean really, they disfellowshipped Ray for having dinner with Peter Gregerson, his employer?? That is some really twisted shit right there!! I mean Jesus ate with a tax collector, former prostitute (Mary Magdollan) lepers, sinners, etc. Somehow it was ok for Jesus to do that, but Ray couldn't eat dinner with his employer?

They entire notion of being disfellowshipped (ex-communicated) for any reason OTHER than out-right rejected Jesus as The Messiah and your Saviour seems completely ludicrious to me now. I mean really, would not Jesus forgive all other sins? Hell, He even forgave Paul for rejecting Him that fateful night long ago!!

But, state that you disagree with the 1914 Generation changes, pedophile cover-ups, UN involvement, field service time reporting requirements, or any other drivel the Governing Body shovels out, and you're Disfellowshipped and thrown out on your ass on the spot!! Dead!! The Unforgiveable Sin!!!! - That's freakin disgusting, and absolutely the most un-Christian thing I tihnk I've heard of outside of the Book of Mormon.

Because of the WT Thought Reform, your cousin is not currently in a position to be reached. Let's hope that a few more years of "real life", in contrast to the Spiritual Paradise they claim will help to open his eyes.

When the student is ready the teacher will appear.

It was Peter who denied him, not Paul, you idiot.

Wow, he accuses you of hate, selfishness blame of others and yet his email came off to be just that. No where did I get that from yours. Amazing.

With friends (family) like these (JWs), who needs enemies?
